ree

I'm still hidden from you, still obscured by a deathly hue.

Every night I pray for forgiveness,

Forgive me for the sins I have committed, forgive me, oh Lord,

amen.

Do you still hear me saying your name?

The dead birds have relented,

mice now hibernate to go and die.

There's a house by the river; I can see us dancing within.

Are not all dreams plagued by the malice of their own deception; a rotten apple from the garden of eve,

stray be

awoken by a symphony of screams.

Please don't stop trying to find me.
